Nice and Cool

bought this refrigerator for my husband, who is a truck driver and likes to have food in the truck instead of eating out all the time. This little cooler fits perfectly in the passenger seat and works great. Of course, you can also use this to save money. Less than br greater than br less than br the shipping is very fast and the seller also follows up to make sure we are satisfied with the purchase.

Fits in a Gen 2 Prius with the back seats removed and a platform.

Fits second generation Prius that remove the rear seats and install the platform bed. Look at the video. It suits our food well once we determine that we need to set the temperature around 50 fahrenheit. If you set it lower, you will freeze some of your food. We used it on our six-week trip to Alaska and it's the best upgrade we've made to the Prius camper in a long time. We always had to find ice. No more! In Eco mode, electricity consumption is actually very low. There is a 100 watt solar cell on the roof that keeps us charged during nice weather. When the compressor is on, it draws 45 watts of power, but when you set it to 50 degrees, it turns off most of the time. It has provided plenty of food for me and my lovely wife. I have read that these freezers are very sensitive to the angle at which they are placed. The machine was at a static angle of about 5 to 10 degrees, without any problems throughout the entire trip. It was a great purchase for us.

Fabulous little travel fridge

The 23 quart version is perfect for us. The overall size isn't much larger than the available volume, but it's heavy enough (about 25 pounds) that you won't want to tow it for miles. Very quiet and cools down quickly. Operation is very simple, without the need to consult the manual, since the instructions are written on the device. Temperature control is also excellent. When set to 40, the range appears to be 35 to 40 degrees. I have installed the refrigerator thermometer to compare the settings. The results are about the same, but in a small refrigerator like this, the temperature can vary greatly depending on its internal location. I bought this mainly to keep drinks and snacks chilled during long bus rides. My concern is if when I stopped it overnight it would turn on all night. I have a 20 amp hour lithium iron phosphate battery and it runs in economy mode for 15 hours at 40 degrees to simulate a night in a hotel. It's easy and still has enough strength. The refrigerator feels well made, but we have to wait to see what the long-term reliability is like. So far we think it is a good purchase for our needs.

The future has arrived

Wow, I saw this, it looks like it was an interesting purchase. Was I ever right? Have you ever gone to the grocery store and bought some frozen food and thought, "I wish I didn't have to go home and put it in the fridge?" Well, you don't have to come home. Simply place food in the freezer/refrigerator and take it anywhere. It can also be used as a freezer/refrigerator with excellent results. Simply plug in the 12 volt plug that comes with all cars. Alternatively, you can plug it into a regular 120-volt outlet in your home and use it as a replacement refrigerator/freezer. Connecting it to a portable power bank and charging it with solar energy makes it very useful on camping trips. This is very useful for food preparers as they keep food fresh even in case of natural disasters or other adverse situations. It is one of the best tools. You'll never think you need it until you have it. Then you will wonder how you live without it.

For car, I need a power converter

It is a story. I just bought it 2 days ago. I bought an ice pack for cooling and used a lighter, but the temperature did not drop below 30 degrees. Difficult to test, once I get error 1 i.e. "low battery". My battery voltage stays above 11 volts. But like other small cigarette power inverters, this inverter helps maintain and increase power. I plug it in and it's cold all night, but the battery "miraculously" stays above 14 volts. Look at my photos. Therefore, you actually need a small inverter to work its magic. It costs about $19 on Walmart. You must use the power cord, not the cigarette lighter plug. A power inverter is a coil that can increase power exponentially without excessively draining the battery.
