Took a bit of digging to find

Extra cost we weren’t aware of when buying the cooler!

Holds quite alot.

We use this freezer, when we travel from oregon to arizona. I load it up with frozen foods and we make the trip over four days. The freezer plugs in to the truck and maintains good temperature the whole way. We actually leave it unplugged when parked overnight, (this being an early December trip. )but food, it's still frozen the following morning. It's compact and well made. A little bit heavy, and definitely heavy when fully loaded. The smaller side compartment is not a freezer, so be careful of the items you place there. It seems to be well designed and good looking.

Does what is supposed to do

I'm an over the road trucker and bought the first one so I could bring food to cook in the truck and save money on the road. It worked great for about two years. 12volt mode doesn't drain the batteries much between starts, I could go a few days without running the engine and still get it to fire up. Keeps things nice and cold too, the claims about getting it down to -10 quickly are true. Then it stopped and threw me an E1 code. Tried the unplug for 30 minutes and plug back in thing, didn't work. Ok, things break, I get it, and it can get pretty rough in some parts of the country where the interstates aren't maintained so well. It took a bit of a beating at times. I emailed to ask if there was an authorized repair center near my home, or anywhere for that matter, and got no response at all. Otherwise it gets 5 stars. I did buy another one if that tells you anything. I'll try to fix the old one myself and keep it on hand as a spare, or for use in personal vehicles for trips out of state. The only upgrade I'd make if I were them would be to ruggedize the area in and around the compressor a little more. These things are HEAVY if you have to move them around loaded with foodstuff, and to get it up into the cab of a semi truck by yourself you're basically giving it a controlled toss. That, and it's designed for mobile use inside of vehicles. I forgot to secure mine down more than once and had it bounce out and fall out of the place I had it set up in. These things happen in mobile environmentsn. The shell around the working parts always held up, but seem a tad flimsy with some "give", so I always worried components might get damaged inside, and that very well may have been the case. Other than that, and the non existent customer service, great product.

The fridge works great. I've used it on multiple 7+ day trips and so far it's worked perfectly. My only complaint is that the smaller storage area doesn't ever seem to get below 50F. Only the larger area is directly cooled, the smaller area requires the coldness to radiate over into it. The smaller area does seem like a weak point for cooling as it does never get below 50F while sharing the main area with the fridge chamber. It also sits directly above the compressor, so I'm wondering if that could be causing heat to transfer up into the cooler. But all that aside, the main cooling area does get plenty cold, but does seem like it requires the fridge to come on more often to keep it cool.

Best fridge that I've ever owned

Can't believe how much power it doesn't draw and how quickly it cools. Coming from any other propane/electric fridge this is a dream!
