Black & Decker gets excellent reviews.

I like the compact design and knowing Black & Decker backs up their warranty.

Wow

The heat setting is awesome, unit is fairly quiet. I'm excited that I now have a heater and air-conditioning all in one unit. Keeps my 600 sq ft upstairs nice and warm in an old farm house. Can't wait to use the ac in the summer. Great product and price

The Best yet !

I've had 3 portable a/c units in the past 7 years and this is by far the best one yet. It chills the room down in about 25 minutes and the heater is the best I've ever had. So honestly I have no problem rating it 5 out of 5 Stars.

Very nice combination unit

Needed cooling for my small one-bedroom apartment. Not likely to use the heat or dehumidifier but they are nice options to have. And the price point sold me. I thought I'd have to move the unit from room to room for the ac to cool the entire space. Which is why an ac on wheels made sense to me. Fortunately, I don't get much intense sunlight through the windows here. To my surprise it manages to keep the entire place cool.Unlike a window mounted ac that can run continuously it does cycle the compressor and fan on and off. It takes a little getting used to but it's not a deal breaker. Once the space is cooled down to the set temperature it shuts down until it's needed again. I don't know why people complain these portable units being noisy. I've had a number of brand name large BTU window units that made considerably more noise than this does.Very pleased to find that this product does include a window kit that fits an opening for windows up to 59" inches. However, I would not advise sticking the foam seal for the window kit to the inside of your window and window frame. It may make it hard to close the window when you no longer need ac. Instead, I suggest sticking the foam seal to the window kit itself once it's assembled and ready to install. There's only couple of issues I have with this portable. One is the exhaust heat. Since the exhaust from the ac is hot about the only thing you can do is keep unit as close to the window as possible in order to shorten the length of the hose. Second issue is the window kit is not readily adjustable. It is made from three sections that are held together with small screws. So, if need to move this unit to another room and you have windows of different sizes this might be a problem.

Works great

Awesome product, it does exactly what it should, low noise level. Small enough to keep out of the way and installation was so simple.
