Lectricman I choose this unit because it has the slimmest bezel and heater vents. Width matches well with 85” TV. Height is exactly what I wanted. I only use realistic flames and logs. Looks fine. Definitely better than any sub-$800 unit I’ve seen. I do not use the heater in South Louisiana. It’s well built, easy to install. Recommended.

Love the look and the functions. It is very dramatic. I just worry because everything revolves around the remote. You only have the on/off switch on the unit. Loose the remote or have stupid kids that like touching things they shouldn't and whallah! You have a blank screen to stare at that you made a hole in your wall for...It would have been nice to have some controls on the units...just saying. Other than that, its a great unit. I would recommend they change the install design to screw into studs on the sides of the unit to secure. it doesn't make sense where they located the anchoring screws.

The fireplace exceeded my expectations! It is so beautiful and I love that you can change both wood and fire colors which allows for a variety of combinations. Also very quiet when you put on the heat function. 10 out of 10!

Holy moly, I am EXTREMELY impressed with this fireplace. We were hoping to add some winter warmth and all seasons ambience to our master bedroom and this totally delivered. In fact, it exceeded our expectations. I can’t believe how many color combinations and looks you can get with the flames. The effect is ultra realistic, and so relaxing to look at and enjoy. It does kick off a nice amount of heat and is not too noisy. In fact, I find the sound of it rather soothing. (Are used to turn on fireplace YouTube videos during naps but now I have my very own real fireplace!)Do make sure you know what you’re getting into, though, before you order this beauty. You’ll need to make sure that it’s properly installed, and it does not compromise the integrity of your wall / structure. But if you can find the right place for it, it will seamlessly fit in with many different styles of decor, and you’ll love it all year round. This is just ideal for kitchens bedrooms and even great rooms. We could’ve Chosen the larger version of this one, But I’m glad we didn’t. Proportionally this one is just right for the space. One of my favorite items of the year!!!

so this thing looks good and had multiple choices and heats a small room fine. My remote never worked from day one and it isn't the remote...it's the IR sensor apparently and since it didn't work out of thw box it was likely never tested after assembly. Will definitely not buy another one from this brand when it inevitably quits working.

Everything appears to be working as it should. All of the features are working properly. The only issue I find is that the thermostat doesn’t seem to give the heater a rest. It seems to be running continuously. I’m going to give it some time to see if I notice any other changes. I have had to turn it off manually once. It gets extremely warm constantly running as it’s below 50 degrees outside, I would hate to turn it off and wake up cold. As far as heating power, I can feel it half way across my room on low. On high it really gives a feeling of air and warmth across the room. I have a 400 sqf bedroom that I have installed it in. I honestly do not think I would Yardley find the need for the high setting. If the thermostat had a temp gauge we could set so that it would turn off instead of constantly running, I would give this 5 stars. Maybe I’m not doing something correctly and can come back to give it 5 stars in the future. As for everything else, I have no complaints.

Purchased the 60inch to place in our build in which is 72inch long. I knew the flame wasn’t going to look “real” considering it’s electric but it honestly is so nice and I’m super happy with it!Front glass hooks into the main part so it’s easy to recess and add glass back afterwards. Only thing is you have screw it into the back wall or some type of stud. It does not screw from sides which I’ve seen others do, so we had to add a stud beam behind our opening which was easy.We like the multiple colors and that you can put it on a timer. We bought more for the aesthetics of having a fireplace and not necessarily for heat or anything like that (even though that it is a feature). Overall would buy again!

I've never taken on a project that included framing so I was a little nervous about this one but it turned out great. The fireplace looks incredible and has several color options to choose from for the rocks and flames separately. It puts off plenty of heat and is fairly quite.

Not a real fire, but it's very pretty and will enhance tlmy room alot! Looked just as good but a quarter of the price as ones in the local fireplace store. But two real got'cha with my built-in install not covered in the manual:1) The power cable is (rightly) thick and unbendy. You need at least 2" of space on the right to plug it in. (You could get away with less if you have a right angle adapter as shown in the first picture.)2) Although the manual says you need 3.15" to 3.54" of depth for the install, the box is actually 3.75 inches deep due to various bumps on its (not including the glass front). This may require some post install shimming to get the cover flush with your wall.

I didn’t expect too much for the price but this unit is very impressive. Installation was pretty easy and straightforward. The remote that came with the unit would work intermittently, so I called the customer service line. With no hassle at all they sent me a new remote that works perfectly.I’m impressed with how much heat that this fireplace puts out. We live in Florida so it wasn’t a big concern, but on chilly mornings this heats up the room very nicely. Not too often that I’m overly impressed, but this unit and company really have done an excellent job.

First off, like many others, we absolutely love this fireplace! It pulls 1500w in high heat mode and really should have its own dedicated 20 amp circuit if you’re using it to heat your space. We have it in our basement and it helps take the chill out of the air during the cold winter.The color options are great, as is the speed of the movement of the flames! We plugged ours into a smart outlet allowing us to power it on and off with voice command.The one caution, and I’m surprised other reviewers didn’t mention it, the dimensions are off for installing it into a cavity. I used the dimensions posted on the page and built my frame before the fireplace actually arrived. I built my opening with a 17 1/2” height, which is within the requirements. However, as you can see in my photos, at 17 1/2” with the glass frame on, there is still a nearly 1/4” gap! It was easy enough to fix with my shiplap, but please be aware!Hoping for good longevity out of this unit, but as of now, we couldn’t be happier! Definitely recommend this unit!

We bought this fireplace to replace a ventless smelly gas fireplace. My husband built in front of the old fireplace and used a faux stone. We couldn't be more happy on how this turned out. This fireplace finalized a more modern look and we love all the color combination options. It faces our front door so now we have a beautiful eye catching wall when guests enter our home.

It was time for an update and this did the trick. We had an ugly corner wood burning fireplace that we used for years, but was getting tired of lugging wood in the house and all the dirt that came with it. We purchased this one based on the reviews. I couldn't tell you how easy or not the install was because my contractor did it, but what I can tell you is how beautiful this is! It has so many different colors as well as you can change the flame color the height and the speed. The heat works very well. I'm sure it's not going to really heat up the room a lot but I don't care because I have solar. I definitely recommend this fireplace.

This heater delivers on all counts: warmth, looks, quiet, and ease of use/installation. We were concerned about using it on a wood wall, but no problem as the only heat generated is on the front, near the outlet. The manual does not describe this well, though. Installation is a breeze for on-the-wall mounting with a strong bracket, although it helped to be 2 of us as in manual to better hold glass. Did use our own shorter screws so as not to stick into knee wall storage behind. Heats our 10x15 bedroom just fine here in Maine (it is on second floor with no other heat source). Looks sleek, nicely designed with lower indicator lights going-out until you need them with a touch on screen or remote that’s works great. We can hear the fan, but it is quiet enough to be barely heard background sound. And we are having such fun playing with colored lights on shimmering crystals (hard plastic, but look like glass) that work fine as described. Although not real logs or a real fireplace, it is enough different that it can be enjoyed for its own merits. Especially love the tall, dancing flames that add reflective primal ambience. The big black cord is a bit unsightly, and we hope to install heater in wall and hide cord as another project, but this was as advertised. The 30 inch size was just right for this room, not available with many vendors. So, unless this product fails, it is delightful for a distinctive, funky, effective and easy-to-use heater if this is your style—and using this electric heat via our community solar farm means it is carbon free, an added bonus for climate change.

we replaced our wood burning fire place for this unit because my kids have huge allergy issues. it looks great, functions well and was pretty easy to install. I wish it would have had holes drilled in the sides of the cabinet with access to install to the side studs... but placing a stud behind it to hold it in place was fine.

Unfortunately my picture does not do this fireplace justice. It is far more beautiful than the picture. I've always wanted a home with a fireplace. I finally bought one that had a gas fireplace. Yet all my friends said they only used theirs maybe once or twice a year because gas was so expensive and they just pulled the heat out of the home in the winter. Well I've always wanted a fireplace for the ambiance. So I decided to replace my "real" gas fireplace with an electric one. I LOVE IT!!!! I love that the colors of the flames can be changes, I love that the colors of the crystals can be changed, I love that there is a dimmer which also changes the intensity of the color of both the crystals and flames, I ESPECIALLY love that there is a speed control of the flame. I generally keep it on the slowest speed setting because it is more hypnotic/meditative. I actually have this fireplace on almost every single day it is so beautiful. It's only not on if the TV is on. The heat generated is just ok. I doubt it would be sufficient to actually heat a room, but that is NOT why I purchased it. I purchased it for the artwork it is and how RELAXED it makes me feel!I can honestly say that out of ALL of the purchases I've ever made on , this is my FAVORITE PURCHASE OF ALL TIME!
