214M 5~ looks4~ installation.Lovely to look at but some tricky fitting for recess mount.Using half of the acrylic embers looks less Vegas. Our last unit from a different maker had a plug that got hot to the touch. Not safe. Not the fault of the circuit in our house, rather, previous unit was faulty. We are hoping this replacement will safely warm our family room and hypnotize our cats.

Lectricman I choose this unit because it has the slimmest bezel and heater vents. Width matches well with 85” TV. Height is exactly what I wanted. I only use realistic flames and logs. Looks fine. Definitely better than any sub-$800 unit I’ve seen. I do not use the heater in South Louisiana. It’s well built, easy to install. Recommended.

My husband was building a custom mantel and was able to easily slip this into his build. Great options for flames and produces a good amount of heat in our rather large living room. Definitely recommend.

Love the different color options. Puts out good heat. We bought it to build into a fireplace wall and it worked perfectly for it!

Love the fireplace- the option to change from rocks or the wood logs is really nice. We chose the wooden logs and it looks really pretty. The fireplace has different color settings and the heat has different temps it can be set at.We have a toddler who loves the orange lights, so we turn it on every morning. He can’t figure out how to mess with the buttons at the bottom because they turn off quickly after use - love that feature.

This was very easy to add into my built-in’s. Looks really nice also. Lots of different settings for lights and heat. My wife wished it could get hotter when it’s in front of it.Things to change is the direction of the power cable because it gets in the way of the wall so I had to move it over to fit. Also make the vents directional, that way if it’s in a higher location like mine you can cause it to blow downward.

It is modern and changed look of my living room. It could be cheaper.

The fireplace exceeded my expectations! It is so beautiful and I love that you can change both wood and fire colors which allows for a variety of combinations. Also very quiet when you put on the heat function. 10 out of 10!

We love the changing colors, the quiet heat blower and everything!! We used this in our built-in entertainment center and was very easy to install. Can’t wait to use this more in the fall/winter.

Holy moly, I am EXTREMELY impressed with this fireplace. We were hoping to add some winter warmth and all seasons ambience to our master bedroom and this totally delivered. In fact, it exceeded our expectations. I can’t believe how many color combinations and looks you can get with the flames. The effect is ultra realistic, and so relaxing to look at and enjoy. It does kick off a nice amount of heat and is not too noisy. In fact, I find the sound of it rather soothing. (Are used to turn on fireplace YouTube videos during naps but now I have my very own real fireplace!)Do make sure you know what you’re getting into, though, before you order this beauty. You’ll need to make sure that it’s properly installed, and it does not compromise the integrity of your wall / structure. But if you can find the right place for it, it will seamlessly fit in with many different styles of decor, and you’ll love it all year round. This is just ideal for kitchens bedrooms and even great rooms. We could’ve Chosen the larger version of this one, But I’m glad we didn’t. Proportionally this one is just right for the space. One of my favorite items of the year!!!

I saw a lot of reels with cool looking TV's and fireplaces built into the walls, so I made my husband build me one. It is still being worked on but I couldnt wait to post a review. It looks so cool and it is very sleek. I did not want it to stick out too far from the wall, and the dimensions on this one is perfect. It is a space heater and puts out a great amount of heat- enough to heat our living room. I would highly recommend this fireplace if you are looking to do a similar project.

I wasn't sure what to expect for this price, but the ratings were good. I've wanted to dive into an electric fireplace for a while to add some ambiance to my room. Never really cared about the heat function, just aesthetics. It was delivered fast, packaged very well, easy to setup and looks really good.My only negatives so far is the remote. Its not very responsive, not backlit and feels cheap. I really wish this fireplace was smart (Google Assistant compatible) so I could directly integrate it into my home automation. I will probably go down the path of setting up a 3rd party smart IR blaster to achieve that goal. But, I knew this going in so no stars removed for not being smart. But 1 star removed for being such a poor experience with the remote that was included.

This is perfect, well made, comes with a remote, crystals and fake logs so you can choose what is best for you, it also has all different colors and heat if needed. We use it all the time!

Nice but start making noise after having it for less than a month. The ticking noise is random and very annoying

It does appear to have a good picture of a flame and variety of colors. It does blow out heat and you can feel it if you are within 6-8 ft from the face. it does stay cool, meaning does not overheat, after all, it is just a space heater. Looks nice and we like the size. Couple critiques: there are 3 holes across the top of the glass appearing as though the fan would blow out all three holes, but fan output only comes out of center hole. Second, only goes up to 82 degrees. My other floor space heater, which takes up less space goes up to 90 degrees and a very small space heater I use in another room goes up to 90 degrees. Fan setting is either LL (low) or HH (high). We have it in a family room, dining, kitchen area, which this is supposed to cover that square footage, and it does not heat up the area that well at all. Again, if you are in within a few feet of it you can feel it, but it does not heat up our area well. Keep in mind, we have a rambler with added insulation blown into our attic and we also have newer (10 year old) vinyl windows which rate very high. This fireplace heater should easily heat up our room, but it does not. I think we will be spending more on our electric bill than we would want to if we turn this on enough for the purpose of heating. I think we will end up using it more for the ambiance than heating up the room. Also, the cord comes out from the end, not the back. If you are trying to insert into a wall, like we are, you have to make sure you leave plenty of space for the cord to bend and go out the back of the wall, if that makes sense. Not sure the specs allow for enough space for the cord to properly bend. Finally, the remote is not lit up, so you cannot see the buttons at all if you have your room lights turned down to watch some tv with the fireplace going. You basically have to know the layout of the fireplace remote and what each button means or turn the light back on to see. Even when you can see the buttons, until you memorize what each means it is very difficult to tell what each button represents. The remote is rather small as well. Fits perfect in a child's hand, an adult hand, not so much.

This was prettier than I was expecting! The fire looks so real! We purchased a house and slowly redoing each room. This fireplace is fantastic. Puts out nice warmth for the room and just looks beautiful. It was an easy install for my husband. I would definitely purchase again!

Heat works great and multi color flame is a bonus !!!
Ruvim 5/5
This is a very simple 40" recessed electric fireplace. I wanted the multi colored flame look, this one has the Maine choice of "flame" color and then 3 settings for the level of the flame. It comes with both a plastic log look and then the clear crystals. It does heat well. The heater has a fan so it is a great source of heat for an entire room. I bought this originally for my living room, however I bought something else a little more vivid with actual 2 or 3 color combos. For the price point there is much better options out there.
Melissa 3/5
We love the style and look of this electric wall fireplace. There are so many color options for the flame including a setting that will run through all the colors. The heat output is great too! Installation was quick and easy. The glass front that comes off is heavy so better to have two people install after the main unit is on the wall. Overall, very happy with the purchase especially for the price!
