I bought this two weeks ago for the summer brand new and now the ac mode refuses to turn on, even after unplugging, emptying the water container, and making sure the flow of air into and out of the unit is unbothered. Complete waste of money get another portable ac unit, furthermore the settings only let you bring the temperature down to only 61 degrees Fahrenheit.

Works well, only complaint is it drips condensation on the bottom. Knowing this it should come with the plate for underneath for this price point. I found something for this at Lowe’s after I noticed my hardwood floors were soaked.

This made it through one season without any issues. I plan to buy another one for the main floor next year.
