I was buying bags of ice almost every day. I turn this on, and it runs for several hours, as needed. We love the size and quantity it makes.Make sure if you’re not going to use it for a few days to drain it and let it dry or it will get moldy.

We love our ice maker! We received ours in May 2024. The only thing I HATE is not being able to fully clean the scoop tray that dumps the ice in basket. I clean my ice machine with vinegar and just got the tablet cleaners. However, that area still never gets 100% clean I feel.

I purchased this to gift it to someone in need. I was not only persuaded to purchase this specific machine by its price, but I also compared it to others by how much time it would take to have ice cubes. The seller listed this product’s performance as being able to have ice cubes in as little as 6 minutes and that is simply false… because it CLEARLY says 7 minutes on the box.I believe that this is a deliberate typo, as many other machines listed on state that their icemakers will provide ice cubes in as little as 6 minutes. Sellers need to be more intentional about accurate product descriptions… we shouldn’t be learning about all of the product details upon receipt of the item

When I got the ice maker I took it out checked everything and looked it over everything looked great , I filled it with water and made sure it would make the 9 bullet shaped ice cubes that it claimed. It does ( DID ) make 9 cubes of ice in 6 minutes as stated up until 2 days ago , when it started to only make a few ice cubes at a time , unplugged-turned off and waited , plugged it back in turned it on and waited , yep only making 2 ice cubes now and those are the closest to where the cold line comes out of the side of the machine , so the ice maker I needed is now only part of what I hoped would work and last , since my ice maker on my refrigerator doesn’t work

The fact that this machine makes ice quick is great. However the ice has a chemical taste and smell which isn’t edible. The ice made can not be used in drinks. This ice maker is great for anything other than consumption.
I really like it. I use it to ice my hot herbal tea with RO water from our water cooler. It doesn't take up much counter space, and the price was reasonable.
I love this ice machine. Very easy to use. The machine is very quiet. The only thing you hear is the ice drop into the basket. It makes two sizes of ice.
I love this ICE MAKER, I'd definitely buy it again. It makes way more ice than I can use ! I can hear it run but it's not loud or obnoxious. Great machine.
I would recommend if you’re in the market to purchase an ice maker get this one. My family & I have enjoyed this one. It produces what it says. It’s fast making, light & crunching cubes! It’s not a large machine & fits nicely on my counter top! If you have a large family as I do! As it makes, I’ll put ice in a ziplock bag & place in my freezer! Just to assure I have plenty. No need to do that if it’s just me @ home! I can’t say enough good about this machine!
This little ice maker has proven to be dependable, and performs as advertised. I don’t use a lot of ice, but my Samsung refrigerator has a notoriously unreliable ice maker. Rather than pay for an expensive ( and reportedly, ineffective) replacement, I purchased this little portable. The machine produces about 10 ice cubes every six minutes, as promised. The water reservoir holds about a liter of water, so producing a days worth of ice requires frequent refilling of the reservoir. Since the cubes themselves are hollow they melt pretty quickly, both in the ice basket and in a drink. But that isn’t really a major issue. I use my freezer’s ice dispenser bin to hold my supply of cubes, and that works for me.
I never have room in my freezer for ice cube trays anymore. I always made a mess filling them and spilling water anyway. Sometimes I would buy a bag of ice and use that. But there was still the space problem.So I eventually just stopped having ice.That wasn’t good on really hot summer days. Stumbled on this little gem. Just plug it up, add water, and it continually makes ice until i’s full. Then it stops. Soon as I use the ice it starts making it again. I turn it off at night because the sound of the ice dropping into the basket wakes me up. But I turn it on in the morning and it’s back on the job. I love having ice again.It’s easy to fill with water. It will keep the ice cold for a while. But if the ice melts, it will just remake it. Love it! I don’t know what bells and whistles are available on other models. And I don’t care. I am just glad to have ice on demand. It really does produce ice in minutes. Which is a major improvement over ice cube trays in the freezer! And it comes with a cite little scoop too.
Produces ice fairly quickly. Best to use bottled water for better taste. My only complaint is that when you try to store the ice in a freezer, it freezes together in a big lump. I end up making small batches as needed.
Yes it is small size, but it makes ice pretty quickly. The basket is very small so it must be emptied often and the ice isn’t refrigerated in the basket, so it will melt over time if not used or moved to a freezer. Good for 1-2 people or maybe up to 4? It seems well-built and is very easy to operate and I love the look. The noise is fairly minimal db level. Overall happy with the value for the money!
Fun to use. Cute little ice cubes. Got it for camping. I set it up when we get to our location and by the time we’re done setting up camp there’s enough ice for a few drinks!!
Busy little machine, always making ice. Which is my only critique, that it has a hard time keeping the ice cold and solid once made, so the melt goes right back to the pump and continuously makes ice. That's kind of a drain on my power bill. I have to shut it off at night or else I keep hearing it make ice all night.
I had it on for so many hours and yetI just got half of a small bag of ice, I don't know may be it's too hot or the machineTakes forever to produce ice,I'll keep trying
Here in Arizona our cold tap water comes out hot. Give it a few cycles and it makes ice quick and does a great job. For best results add cold water. I keep some in the fridge. Bought for the wife because our fridge stopped making ice it was so hot. Wife is a happy camper having ice water again. 5 star.
I did not realize that if the water wasn't relatively cold, or if the area you have the machine in is too warm that it doesn't actually make good ice cubes. It makes a lot of ice very quickly when it's not too hot in the room where the machine is located, or the water is not too warm that goes into the machine... I have found putting refrigerated water in the machine produces good results. Most of these small ice machines are not miniature freezers so you must take the ice cubes out relatively soon after they're made. (After the basket fills up) I put them in a plastic bag and put them in the freezer once they are refrozen and not wet I just break up the bag of cubes against a hard surface.Overall I like this machine very much. The size is great! Very portable! And self cleaning. I add some vinegar water and put it on clean mode. Super easy ... then I rinse it out and begin making ice again.
The ice maker is perfect for the girls dorm room. It makes just the amount of ice the need. The girls have to unplug it at night because the noise is too loud. Other than that they love it!!
I bought this to make ice daily for my frig- since in the 100s I put ice it in a pan to help keep it cool. Also, great ice for drinks.My only complaint is when starting out it takes about the 4th batch to be solid full size ice cubes.Am trying to find the book on how to clean it since I can't find the one that came with it
