It worked great. I used only bottled water since our tap is hard/gross. It broke after 7 months use, disappointed.

This machine is a champ.

I run it for an hour or 2 a day and it fills 2 bins in my freezer. My wife goes through it like crazy. It's not too noisy, works pretty fast, and it actually keeps ice longer than I thought it would. I'd definitely recommend it.

Cleaning

We love our ice maker! We received ours in May 2024. The only thing I HATE is not being able to fully clean the scoop tray that dumps the ice in basket. I clean my ice machine with vinegar and just got the tablet cleaners. However, that area still never gets 100% clean I feel.
