WASTE OF MONEY..... Purchased countertop ice maker on July 1st and it is now September 5th started making loud weird noises and then the lights started flashing and it just stop making ice. Called customer service line only to be placed on hold and then disconnected, now I'm waiting on a response back.
We strictly followed the instructions (including descaling and cleaning), but the machine still makes harsh noises every two weeks. Contacted customer service several times. His response was extremely superficial and only said that it needed regular cleaning. They actually have a dedicated customer service line for this product, so you can see how many problems there are. We have been waiting for this product for a long time, but now we feel that the cost of maintaining it is not cost-effective at all.

After a week-long initial inspection, the company contacted us and offered to replace the advertised equipment at no charge. We are satisfied and we cover the cost of shipping the equipment to southern California. Once we provided shipping tracking information, they made the replacement quickly as promised. In this world of scams, I must admit I had some concerns, but in the end everything worked out. We thank this company for keeping their promise to replace the advertised product! We delayed the upgrade to ensure the performance quality of the new unit. After seven weeks, the unit worked excellent. We purchased this ice maker in July 2023. Based on the manual, photos and instructions, we understand that a plumbing connection can be made for this ice maker. All manuals and photos showing images on the back of our gimn-1000c model indicate that this is feasible. The equipment was prepared by a water plumber, but when trying to access the pipe we realized that the back of the machine was inaccessible. After tearing off the label, it was found to be inaccessible, however the metal panel had cut-out ports to accommodate. Remove the rear door - there is no water pipe assembly inside. When we reviewed the listing, it was discovered that the company had changed all the photos and modified the instructions to describe them as "manual filling" and no longer included the after photo unless it was explicitly stated that the pipes were accessible. We realized this too late and did not have the option to return the product or act on false advertisements. The machine itself works well, but makes noise when descaling is needed or when the water level is low. Disappointed, they advertised the machine in a false way.
The ice maker worked well at first and was very satisfied for 3.5 months. But then it suddenly started screaming constantly in the middle of the night, I thought it was its own problem, after all, I hadn't used it before, it was cleaned 6 times in a row. I didn't expect to start again a week later. Every time that sound, the whole family was nervous. After another two weeks of deep cleaning, it turned out to be leaking. I didn't notice it until I found water stains under the pan. The warranty card has no idea where it went, not to mention the ice maker went bad in less than 4 months. It's not worth paying $400 for.
The most expensive ice machine used before broke after a year and a half. The Simzlife ice maker made me amazing, less noise and fast ice output. Very satisfied with this purchase!

They only offered me a replacement coupon worth $330, which didn't bring me a substantial deal. I am disappointed because the price of this ice maker is not cheap and it is not guaranteed for long-term use. I remind other consumers that although the online reviews are positive, the value for money is not very good and the customer service is disappointing. Being told that it is not available in the UK, that I could have bought the same product in the US, is also a misleading purchase. The equipment did not work properly.

This ice cream machine is really good! Its design is very ingenious and it is very convenient for drainage and cleaning. The door is also designed to catch the water droplets in the ice bucket very well and it is super easy to add water. The only downside is wishing it had built-in lights. Overall though, the ice cream machine is really amazing!

I am disappointed with the automatic cleaning and ice function of the machine as it is almost as loud as a lawnmower. When in use, it can be heard throughout the house and even outside of it, making it impossible to carry out other activities in the home with peace of mind. Although the manufacturer's service is generally good, this noise issue makes me regret our choice. I wish I had chosen a quieter brand at the time.

I really like my Simzlife ice maker. Satisfies my desire for brittle ice cubes. The Prime promotions got me started without hesitation. Although I chose black, the white version looks easier to look at and clean. Adding water and cleaning up was easy, and my husband plans to modify it to save me from manually adding water. A little noise when making ice. It must be the sound of ice blocks falling in the storage room. Excellent option for the price. The only hope is that it will produce ice cubes that are more durable and less resistant to melting. The only minor drawback at this time is that the storage box must be disassembled when removing the ice to put in the cup.

The ice maker has been excellent for 16 months since purchase. I strictly follow the cleaning and maintenance instructions. The low rating is due to the discovery that the internal parts of the machine that were in contact with the ice began to rust.
