When I got the ice maker I took it out checked everything and looked it over everything looked great , I filled it with water and made sure it would make the 9 bullet shaped ice cubes that it claimed. It does ( DID ) make 9 cubes of ice in 6 minutes as stated up until 2 days ago , when it started to only make a few ice cubes at a time , unplugged-turned off and waited , plugged it back in turned it on and waited , yep only making 2 ice cubes now and those are the closest to where the cold line comes out of the side of the machine , so the ice maker I needed is now only part of what I hoped would work and last , since my ice maker on my refrigerator doesn’t work
This ice maker is just what I have been looking for. It makes ice really fast and I don’t have any complaints about this product at all. The ice is great for drinks and great for just eating if you are like me and love to eat ice, it is perfect. I definitely recommend this ice maker and I will be getting one for a family member for a Christmas gift.

I am Impressed, I definitely Love this Ice Machine. It’s Beautiful, Low on the Noise, definitely quiet compared to my old Bullet type machine. It has two different ways to add the water, the tray and on top in the back. I Love that it has drawer, that caught my eye when I was scrolling through the list of Ice Machines. I don’t have to fight with the lid, like my old bullet one. I let the Ice in the basket melt because I wanted to see what happens when it melts into the bottom reservoir, the machine will suck it up when the water draws is empty, and on the Ice Making mode. you don’t have to drain it and waste all that water. It’s Perfect 😁
After setting up, which was quite easy- we had our first little nuggets drop down to the ice holding tank with in 7-10 mins. And the ice holding tank was full after about 45 mins -1 hour. Delivery time was good also. Packaging- boxes were very durable & inside packaging was as well.
So far it makes ice faster than the one I had to replace due to overheating. This ice maker is smaller than my previous unit and the basket on this ice maker is way smaller but overall I have been able to fill up 2 reusable 5 lb bags to keep in my deep freezer. As for the other reviews saying it's loud it is not it is alot more quiet than my previous ice maker but the noise is not noticeable. I love the removable water tank so easy to fill and clean. Only thing I don't like but dont think it's a big deal the shape of ice is actually little nuggets not the round sonic ice but still serves purpose. I'm anemic and love eating ice. Also a must with purchasing any portable ice maker is purchasing the INSURANCE!!!!! AN ABSOLUTE MUST my previous one lasted 1-2 years and them started overheating. Get 3 years!!!!
I used to have the bullet looking ice maker machine but I really wanted an ice machine with ice that compares to sonic ice because I’m addicted to chewing sonic ice! Lol The ice that this machine makes is definitely comparable to sonic ice and I absolutely love it! 10/10 for me! I also get gallon sized freezer bags and fill em up when my machine is full so I can have some ready for a party or a lot of company. Everyone enjoys this ice! It also looks fantastic in my kitchen with that glowy light.
I really can’t find anything we dislike about this ice machine 😊, it might be a little noisy for some , yesterday our daughter got married. Packaged arrived on time and good condition. After set up started producing ice immediately. Ice is small and melts kind of fast but I like the small nuggets. I’ve had two previous ice makers and this one is the loudest when making ice so I’d recommend a place off to the side where it won’t be bothersome.
This nugget sonic ice is perfection...we been buying bags of ice from the sonic drive-in for over 20 years.Exactly the same as real sonic ice.Machine runs flawless to this point.My 3rd ice machine and the brand wins hands down.We use gallon Zip lock bag to stock up in our garage freezer.I will give follow-up review as time goes by had this machine a few days only.

I had a cheaper one, a EUHOMY that worked just fine but it got scummy and was very loud.I bought this one for the self-cleaning function, but was pleasantly surprised it was very quiet in comparison to my old one, and incredibly fast.This was $25 more than my first one, but so far has been well worth the extra money. No complaints so far.

Easy to use and makes ice quickly but is annoying loud. Measured at 64 decimals. We normally turn it off while we are in the same room and turn it on when we are out of the room.
We only used it for about 3 months and it quit making ice. Still comes on and cycles water, but won’t make ice. Having a hard time finding someone to work on it.
Ice was wet as it dropped into tray so immediately removing to a freezer did nothing but make the nuggets one large clump that requires an ice pick so you don’t heave nuggets anymore.
I prefer more of a nugget but it is still nice to have extra ice around especially when you have company and during the holidays. This one makes the bullet shaped one where its hollow in the center since it freezes around metal rods. This one works pretty well and produces a decent amount of ice daily. We just leave it plugged in at all times.

This icemaker is amazing. I didn't realize it when I ordered it but it's the same namebrand as my air fryer which is also amazing. The ice machine is great for you to make the ice and save it. It makes the ice pretty fast. In about and I was time I had a medium bowl of ice cubes. In a hour you will have a medium size bowl full of ice . you to choose the different sizes of ice cubes as well as a self cleaning option. Love it
Will get really noisy if the water level drops giving an audible on it is about to run dry. We use distilled water to help keep it clean. And no, not really like cube ice, more like chunk, but that is nit picking. It's ice for crying out loud.
This is a great icemaker and you really don't know how much ice you use till you have this. Small compact and makes ice quickly. Easy to clean up a must for any home bar.
I have had a few different ice makers and none can even compare to this one. Absolutely love it and the idea is perfect. It is a little noisy but it's easy to get used to and it doesn't take long.
I got this ice maker because I'm tired of having to go to the store to buy it. This is a really nice, little machine. There is an instruction booklet that comes with it and it's easy to set up. You'll need to wipe it out and wash the ice basket before use. There are two modes on there for big or small ice. We enjoy both. It appears to be sturdy and it doesn't take up much room on the counter which is nice. You do not hook it up to your water line, you pour water into it. The only thing I am not liking is that you can't really hold the ice cube in it for a long period of time. They melt and then they are made into more ice cubes. So if you don't watch it, it can be on for hours because of this. I make sure to unplug it when I no longer need ice. We then keep our ice in a bucket in the freezer. Overall, great product and I'm happy with it.
It makes ice cubes that are bullet shaped with hollow inside. They have more contact area with drink that square shaped ice cubes which is both an advantage and disadvantage at the same time. On the upside they cool your drink more effectively but the downside is that they melt faster.Ice cube or ice bullet quality is good. They are soft with a nice, chewable texture. Only complaint is that they come out a bit wet (which is pretty much the case for all low to medium priced ice makers) so if you put ice makers in freezer they will likely freeze together into a clump. It’s not hard to break them apart with an ice pick though.Control panel is pretty simple and easy to use. It features only 2 buttons – one for turning ice maker on or off and the other one for selecting modes.The Chefman Dual-Size ice machine offers great value for the money making it overall the best choice if you are looking for a countertop ice maker unless you are willing to spend significant amounts of money.
