This product works great. The ice maker in my fridge was $174 for the parts so I opted for this ice maker and I am very satisfied with it. I would recommend it!
When I got the ice maker I took it out checked everything and looked it over everything looked great , I filled it with water and made sure it would make the 9 bullet shaped ice cubes that it claimed. It does ( DID ) make 9 cubes of ice in 6 minutes as stated up until 2 days ago , when it started to only make a few ice cubes at a time , unplugged-turned off and waited , plugged it back in turned it on and waited , yep only making 2 ice cubes now and those are the closest to where the cold line comes out of the side of the machine , so the ice maker I needed is now only part of what I hoped would work and last , since my ice maker on my refrigerator doesn’t work
This ice maker is just what I have been looking for. It makes ice really fast and I don’t have any complaints about this product at all. The ice is great for drinks and great for just eating if you are like me and love to eat ice, it is perfect. I definitely recommend this ice maker and I will be getting one for a family member for a Christmas gift.

I am Impressed, I definitely Love this Ice Machine. It’s Beautiful, Low on the Noise, definitely quiet compared to my old Bullet type machine. It has two different ways to add the water, the tray and on top in the back. I Love that it has drawer, that caught my eye when I was scrolling through the list of Ice Machines. I don’t have to fight with the lid, like my old bullet one. I let the Ice in the basket melt because I wanted to see what happens when it melts into the bottom reservoir, the machine will suck it up when the water draws is empty, and on the Ice Making mode. you don’t have to drain it and waste all that water. It’s Perfect 😁
After setting up, which was quite easy- we had our first little nuggets drop down to the ice holding tank with in 7-10 mins. And the ice holding tank was full after about 45 mins -1 hour. Delivery time was good also. Packaging- boxes were very durable & inside packaging was as well.
So far it makes ice faster than the one I had to replace due to overheating. This ice maker is smaller than my previous unit and the basket on this ice maker is way smaller but overall I have been able to fill up 2 reusable 5 lb bags to keep in my deep freezer. As for the other reviews saying it's loud it is not it is alot more quiet than my previous ice maker but the noise is not noticeable. I love the removable water tank so easy to fill and clean. Only thing I don't like but dont think it's a big deal the shape of ice is actually little nuggets not the round sonic ice but still serves purpose. I'm anemic and love eating ice. Also a must with purchasing any portable ice maker is purchasing the INSURANCE!!!!! AN ABSOLUTE MUST my previous one lasted 1-2 years and them started overheating. Get 3 years!!!!
I used to have the bullet looking ice maker machine but I really wanted an ice machine with ice that compares to sonic ice because I’m addicted to chewing sonic ice! Lol The ice that this machine makes is definitely comparable to sonic ice and I absolutely love it! 10/10 for me! I also get gallon sized freezer bags and fill em up when my machine is full so I can have some ready for a party or a lot of company. Everyone enjoys this ice! It also looks fantastic in my kitchen with that glowy light.
I really can’t find anything we dislike about this ice machine 😊, it might be a little noisy for some , yesterday our daughter got married. Packaged arrived on time and good condition. After set up started producing ice immediately. Ice is small and melts kind of fast but I like the small nuggets. I’ve had two previous ice makers and this one is the loudest when making ice so I’d recommend a place off to the side where it won’t be bothersome.
This nugget sonic ice is perfection...we been buying bags of ice from the sonic drive-in for over 20 years.Exactly the same as real sonic ice.Machine runs flawless to this point.My 3rd ice machine and the brand wins hands down.We use gallon Zip lock bag to stock up in our garage freezer.I will give follow-up review as time goes by had this machine a few days only.
Easy to use and makes ice quickly but is annoying loud. Measured at 64 decimals. We normally turn it off while we are in the same room and turn it on when we are out of the room.
We only used it for about 3 months and it quit making ice. Still comes on and cycles water, but won’t make ice. Having a hard time finding someone to work on it.
Ice was wet as it dropped into tray so immediately removing to a freezer did nothing but make the nuggets one large clump that requires an ice pick so you don’t heave nuggets anymore.
Wife been wanting nugget ice maker so decided on this one. Makes ice pretty fast, and while it not the quietest it not that load either. Only things I can complain about is the ice chamber is not cooled so the ice melts and the drain is underneath which is a bit of pain when you have to drain it. Overall solid and make the wife happy
Will get really noisy if the water level drops giving an audible on it is about to run dry. We use distilled water to help keep it clean. And no, not really like cube ice, more like chunk, but that is nit picking. It's ice for crying out loud.
I have had a few different ice makers and none can even compare to this one. Absolutely love it and the idea is perfect. It is a little noisy but it's easy to get used to and it doesn't take long.
I don’t like the fact that when you making a lg bash of ice, and place it into your ice tray it freezes as a big blob of ice and very hard to get it unstuck. Otherwise I like the small cubes.
At first, I was worried that the water "tank", if you will, would not refil itself after the ice melts, but it is not a problem. I love the way the ice sounds in my tumbler. I know, it's lame, but there it is. It may be just my imagination, but the ice also seems not to melt as fast as the larger cubes in the less expensive table top ice makers.
I would recommend if you’re in the market to purchase an ice maker get this one. My family & I have enjoyed this one. It produces what it says. It’s fast making, light & crunching cubes! It’s not a large machine & fits nicely on my counter top! If you have a large family as I do! As it makes, I’ll put ice in a ziplock bag & place in my freezer! Just to assure I have plenty. No need to do that if it’s just me @ home! I can’t say enough good about this machine!
This little ice maker has proven to be dependable, and performs as advertised. I don’t use a lot of ice, but my Samsung refrigerator has a notoriously unreliable ice maker. Rather than pay for an expensive ( and reportedly, ineffective) replacement, I purchased this little portable. The machine produces about 10 ice cubes every six minutes, as promised. The water reservoir holds about a liter of water, so producing a days worth of ice requires frequent refilling of the reservoir. Since the cubes themselves are hollow they melt pretty quickly, both in the ice basket and in a drink. But that isn’t really a major issue. I use my freezer’s ice dispenser bin to hold my supply of cubes, and that works for me.
Just ordered this ice machine this past weekend. It came in today, followed instructions to wait and hour before plugging it in once it's out of the box. Filled it up and not ten minutes later it's already making ice!I was a little worried on the other reviews complaining about the noise level. But in all honesty it's not very noticeable. It's way quieter than an air fryer or microwave.I can't wait to start making my own Dutch Bros drinks at home now :)**Will try to update later to see if I change rating to 5 stars
Worked good for around 3 months, then stopped making ice. From the beginning it made fairly loud noise when starting it each day, but it did make great ice. Received it June 6, 2024 and it stops making ice September 5, 2024. I have been working with the manufacturer for over a week trying to get an exchange. Hopefully they will exchange it?
I’ve only had the ice machine for two days and it started making this loud noise! I’ve tried to reach out to sellers and keep receiving an automated email response asking to send information that I already sent to them. It would have been a great ice machine if it didn’t sound like a loud engine!
Ive used this 3 or 4 times now and it is awesome. Makes the nugget ice like you find at Sonic drive ins. Yeah, it takes it awhile to make very much, but usually on my day off, I'll just let it run and I get two big gallon freezer bags of nugget ice in about 4 to 5 hours. Totally worth it.
Busy little machine, always making ice. Which is my only critique, that it has a hard time keeping the ice cold and solid once made, so the melt goes right back to the pump and continuously makes ice. That's kind of a drain on my power bill. I have to shut it off at night or else I keep hearing it make ice all night.
After reading the reviews I was skeptical but knew this was style of ice maker I was looking for. I waited a few weeks to write this review to see how I liked it. 5 stars!!! Very quiet while making ice and zero noise once ice basket is full. Located near window direct sunlight and still nothing melted. The ice pellets are exactly like sonic, soft, chewable, small and used regular faucet water which I have only filled up every 3 days or so. Very happy and def glad I took a chance.
If you were looking for an ice machine that makes exactly like sonic this isn’t it. They are tiny little square cubes. They are not near as soft as sonic ice. It works for what we want it for, but I was A little disappointed that it wasn’t more like sonic. On the positive that makes very quick and it makes quite a bit. I like that the water reservoirs hold a lot of water. I’m only giving it a three just so the people that want sonic ice might see this review.
